The sports festival "Asaka Sports Festival" will be held in Asaka City. This event aims to widely popularize sports, foster regional friendship, and promote health. Starting this fiscal year, the name has been changed to "Asaka Sports Festival," and in addition to the traditional inter-district competition events, new sports trial booths will be set up at each venue. On the day of the event, starting with the opening ceremony, various district events such as tamaire (beanbag toss), community relay, team jumping (long rope jumping), and a tyrannosaurus race will be held. Furthermore, sports experience booths will be featured at the General Gymnasium and the Baseball Stadium, allowing visitors to casually experience a wide variety of sports, including track and field, baseball, kendo, table tennis, naginata, karate, badminton, Shorinji Kempo, gateball, softball, petanque, ground golf, Ryukyu Kobujutsu, and mini tennis. A lottery will also be planned where participants can collect stamps at each trial booth to win sports goods and other prizes. It is an event where you can experience various sports with family and friends and spend an enjoyable day.
