Japanese name:子ども大学あさか学園祭 子どもがつくるまち「ミニあさか」

About this event
"Mini Asaka" is an event where children become citizens, participate in town planning, and experience working and shopping. Various facilities and shops are set up in the town, such as City Hall, Hello Work (employment office), cafes, and general merchandise stores. Participants first register as citizens and receive citizen cards along with "Saika," the currency used in Mini Asaka. When they run out of Saika, they can find a job at "Hello Work" and earn Saika as a salary by working. Using this Saika, they can play in town again or enjoy shopping. In this event where children take the lead, local communities, government, businesses, and NPOs collaborate to provide a valuable opportunity to stimulate children's curiosity. Parents and guardians can view from the 2nd-floor gallery.
