A quintessential autumn tradition of Misato City, Saitama Prefecture, the "Misato Fireworks Festival 2026" will be held at Edogawa Athletic Park. Under the theme of "Launched into the Night Sky: Propelling toward the Future," each firework carries the gratitude, dreams, and hopes for human connections from local residents, businesses, organizations, and children. The greatest feature is the joint launch with the "Nagareyama Fireworks Festival" held on the opposite shore in Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture, totaling around 14,000 fireworks across both cities. The music-synchronized program is highly popular, thrilling the audience as fireworks launch one after another in rhythm. The spectacle of fireworks going off simultaneously across the prefectural border between Misato and Nagareyama is a rare production that can be enjoyed from both riverbanks, and the massive blooms of fireworks spreading overhead in the open space of the riverbed are truly breathtaking. All seats are reserved paid seating, allowing you to relax and watch without needing to claim a spot.
