Yashio Sports Festival 2026

In Yashio City, Saitama Prefecture, "Yashio Sports Festival 2026" will be held. The purpose of this event is to allow everyone, from children to adults, to casually experience a variety of sports. On the day, athlete exchange classes will be held by judoka Natsumi Tsunoda, former badminton Japan national team member Sayaka Takahashi, and Heisei International University track and field team coach Takuro Hirata. Additionally, a diverse range of experience classes will be available, including bouldering, trampolining, slacklining, inflatable play equipment, Struck Out, Molkky experience, universal sports experience, Shotgun Touch, Kendo classes, Snag Golf experience, tennis classes, and table tennis classes. Furthermore, visitors can enjoy performances by dance teams, health measurement booths, bouncy ball scooping, ring toss, merchandise sales, food truck stalls, and a lottery draw. As participation perks, the first 1,000 visitors will receive a complimentary beverage, and the first 500 visitors can participate in a stamp rally with chances to win luxurious prizes. Some activities require prior application, and in the case of high demand, a lottery may be conducted. Participation is free of charge.
