About this event
The "Culture Plaza 2026," bringing together the culture and arts of Soka, will be held at the Soka City Cultural Hall. At this free-admission event, diverse stage performances including ballet, recitations, Shigin (chanted poetry), traditional dance, and musical performances will take place in the hall. In the lobby, alongside exhibitions of flower arrangement (Ikebana), stencil art, and Haiku poetry, workshops such as stencil crafting and mini-flower arrangement will be offered for an experience fee of 500 yen each. Additionally, tea service will be available at the tea house "Zensouan Hyakudai no Kakaku," where tea tickets can be enjoyed for 500 yen. A Junior Haiku competition for elementary school students in Soka City is also being held, with winning entries displayed at the venue. On November 3 (Tuesday, National Holiday), Culture Day, it is a day to experience the artistic expressions of various cultural organizations active in Soka.
