About this event
The Koshigaya Citizens' Cultural Festival is a celebration of civic culture held to deepen understanding of culture and the arts, foster rich education and humanity, and improve local culture. Marking its 57th edition this year, this event utilizes the entire Koshigaya Community Center, allowing visitors to enjoy a wide variety of presentations. In the main and small halls, stage performances such as chorus, Hawaiian music and dance, theater, and dance will be held, while in the exhibition hall and foyer, visitors can view works in painting, flower arrangement (ikebana), local history research, and crafts. The annually popular hands-on experience corner is also scheduled to be held, offering content that anyone from children to seniors can enjoy. In the performance divisions of music and dance, as well as the exhibition divisions of flower arrangement, painting, and crafts, citizens will present the results of their daily practice. This is an opportunity for many visitors to view the works and performances, and participation is open not only to individuals but also together with peers and friends.
