"Hara Gion," held in the Minano and Hara districts of Minano Town, is a summer festival held in late July. It is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Minano Station on the Chichibu Railway. The festival takes place from evening to night, with floats and portable shrines (mikoshi) paraded through the Hara district centered on the Minano Shopping Street. Street stalls and shopping street vendors also line up, creating a vibrant atmosphere. This festival is a community-rooted traditional Gion festival that delights many people as a hallmark of summer.
