70th Sports Mate Run Matsudo Edogawa Riverbank Marathon

About this event

A marathon event held in Matsudo—popular among runners—set on a flat and easy-to-run Edogawa riverbank course. From beginners to advanced runners, it is ideal for regular runners aiming to update their personal bests or those who have recently started running for practice. Automatic time measurement is fully equipped, so those wanting to record their times can also enjoy it. Various categories are available: full marathon, 30km, half marathon, and 10km, which can be selected according to participants' skill levels. A pair discount for 10km is also available, along with early-bird perks. Number bibs and pamphlets with precautions will be distributed on the day of the event. Finish certificates will be issued individually upon crossing the finish line according to each runner's performance, after which participants dismiss on their own. A blue sheet for luggage storage will be set up, and plastic bags will be distributed in case of rain. Use of nearby coin-operated parking or public transportation is recommended. Access is convenient, located a 20-minute walk from Matsudo Station and a 3-minute walk from the Kogasaki bus stop. Prizes are prepared for 1st to 3rd place finishers in each category, and finish certificates printed with times will be issued on the day to all finishers. Participation notices will be sent by email at least 2 days prior to the event date.
