Now in its 9th year, the art festival 'Science and Art Hill 2026' will be held across venues including Tojo-tei House, Shoun-tei, and Tojogaoka Historical Park in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. Set amidst the rich nature of the historic residence, a diverse program combining cutting-edge technology and art will unfold. Under the theme 'Weaving the Microcosmos,' exhibitions of soil experiment results from Switzerland and various locations in Matsudo City, artworks using naturally derived inks, and installations using thread and light will be presented. In addition, visitors can enjoy interactive art appreciation workshops and the 'Hillside Marche' featuring creative shops. Furthermore, the 'Tojo Festival' school festival by Chiba University's Faculty of Horticulture and a stamp rally connecting local activities will be held simultaneously, making it an event where culture and art can be enjoyed throughout the day.
