About this event
Based on the Sakura Castle Town Area Vision, the social experiment event 'Tamaruba' will be held to create destinations and improve walkability using public spaces and vacant shops. On Sunday, November 15, 2026, as 'Tamaruba: Jokamachi HANGOUT 2026,' attractive gathering spots will be created across locations such as Keisei Sakura Station-mae Street, the City Museum of Art, Urashinmachi Warehouse, Ohayashi Hall, and Sakura Castle Ruins Park. Local key figures active in Sakura will provide experiences that allow visitors to find cozy spots suited to themselves and spend a fulfilling day in Sakura. In the past, a special edition called 'Summer Tamaruba' was held at Yumesakurakan and the Sakura City Museum of Art, featuring books, movies, and an organic village market. During the event, a stamp rally visiting shops in the castle town will also be held, with prizes prepared.
