The Japan Folk Song Association Chiba Prefectural Federation Convention: Japan Folk Song Association Minyo Contest and Research Presentation will be held in the Small Hall of the Yachiyo City Civic Hall. Aiming for the dissemination and development of Japanese folk songs (minyo), this event features presentations in a contest format alongside research presentations. Participants demonstrate the fruits of their daily practice, and the audience can savor traditional Japanese singing voices and dances. Admission is free.
