'Yachiyo Historical Romance Journey: Local Cuisine' will be held, offering a taste of nostalgic flavors from Yachiyo City. In this event, you can learn about traditional local dishes made with regional ingredients. The planned menu includes Takatsu chicken rice (tori meshi), Katsuda ohira soup, barappa manju, uribuki, merikenko-yaki, and carrot shiraae, providing an opportunity to savor culinary delights unique to Yachiyo. The capacity is 15 participants, and the participation fee is 800 yen. Participants are required to bring an apron, a triangular bandana (head kerchief), and 3 dishcloths or towels. The event is organized by the Yachiyo City Tourism Association and supported by Yachiyo City.
