2026 Teganuma Team Run & Kids Run Unakichi Cup

About this event

Held on a special course at the Teganuma Waterfront Plaza on the shores of nature-rich Lake Teganuma, the 2026 Teganuma Team Run & Kids Run Unakichi Cup is a running event featuring a relay marathon where teams pass the sash (tasuki) and runs that parents and children can enjoy together. The Team Run challenges teams of 2 to 10 runners to compete for the number of laps completed in 4 hours. There are also categories such as Parent-Child Run, Kids Run, and Mile Run, allowing a wide range of age groups from elementary school students to junior high school students and above to enjoy. Around the venue is Mizu no Yakata (House of Water), which features direct sales shops selling fresh Abiko-grown vegetables and restaurants, allowing visitors to enjoy the charm of Lake Teganuma between or after races. The event will proceed rain or shine, and participation prizes such as original towels and medals are planned for participants. With awards and costume prizes, the event is sure to be lively and exciting.
