The 69th Shiroi Citizens Cultural Festival

Shiroi City will host the "69th Shiroi Citizens Cultural Festival" to showcase the achievements of arts and cultural activities pursued by local residents. With the Cultural Center as the main venue, diverse events including artwork exhibitions and stage performances will take place, starting with the exhibition division on October 29 (Thursday) and culminating in Dance Festival vol.25 on November 22 (Sunday). The exhibition and competition division is scheduled from October 29 (Thursday) to November 3 (Tuesday, national holiday), displaying works in painting, photography, pottery, bonsai, horticulture, tea/flower arrangement, and handicrafts. A performing arts festival will be held on November 3 (Tuesday, national holiday), followed by a music festival on November 7 (Saturday) and 8 (Sunday). The grand finale will be the Dance Festival vol.25 on November 22 (Sunday). Dance groups and individuals living, working, or studying in the city will present the results of their daily practice. While participation fees apply, it is anticipated to be a vibrant event serving as a platform for citizens' cultural presentations and exchanges. Please note that the event may be canceled to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
