The 32nd Teganuma Eco Marathon is a scenic marathon held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Kashiwa City and Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture, running along Lake Teganuma in a figure-eight course. Characterized by a flat, easy-to-run course, runners are cheered on by brass band and taiko drum performances. Two events are held: a half marathon (21.0975 km) and a 5-mile run (approx. 8 km), with the half marathon being an officially certified course. Participants can receive participation prizes such as an original T-shirt (planned) and a post-finish commemorative towel (planned). In addition to overall and divisional awards, the tournament also features team competitions, senior awards, long-distance visitor awards, and local awards. Around Lake Teganuma, visitors can enjoy tourist attractions such as the Former Residence of Naoya Shiga, Shirakaba Literature Museum, and Abiko City Museum of Birds, as well as local specialties such as pears.
