Held in Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture, the Shibaseimutsu Hometown Festival is a community festival taking place along the North Exit Main Boulevard of JR Tennodai Station. In the evening, visitors can enjoy a mystical illumination from a 400-meter straight line of LED balloons. With festival food stalls and stage performances, the area bustles with excitement all day. This festival is held under the spirit of 'Shibaseimutsu' through collaboration among five neighborhood associations around Tennodai North Exit (Shibasaki, Shibasakidai, Aoyama, Aoyamadai, and Minami-Aoyama) and the Tennodai North Exit Shopping District, aiming for the unified development of the north exit area. Please note that traffic restrictions will be in place on the day. The event features activities for all ages, including photo sessions with a Tyrannosaurus and displays of ladder fire trucks.
