Seaside Nature Observation Gathering

Held at Kidohama Beach in Yokoshibahikari Town, located almost in the center of Kujukuri Beach, the 'Seaside Nature Observation Gathering' is an event where you can connect with rich nature. This coast is a nesting site for endangered loggerhead sea turtles and is known as the northern limit of their nesting grounds. At the event, you can enjoy learning about seaside creatures and nature while listening to easy-to-understand explanations from an expert Chiba Prefecture Natural Park Instructor. Participants will also receive special gifts featuring 'Yokopi', the mascot character of Yokoshibahikari Town. Why not spend a special time filled with new discoveries with family and friends at the summer beach? The event will be cancelled in case of stormy weather. Children of elementary school age and younger must be accompanied by a guardian. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis with advance application required.
