About this event

Held for the first time in 2026, "MARUNOUCHI SUMMER FEST" is an event set across the entire Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho area, offering diverse experiences in the heart of Tokyo during the summer. Over 100 events will unfold during the period, catering to a wide audience from children to adults. A key highlight is the "Marunouchi Summer Workshop" in partnership with more than 50 shops and enterprises in the Marunouchi area, providing numerous workshops where participants can experience jobs across various sectors including food and beverage, apparel, and services. Perfect for children and families, it brings together unique content that can also be used for summer vacation independent research projects. Furthermore, Marunouchi Naka-dori will feature vibrant floral decorations under the theme "Welcoming Loved Ones to the Town," serving as a photogenic spot day and night. At the Kokyo Gaien National Garden (Imperial Palace Outer Gardens), "Nagomi Akari no Michi" will showcase traditional Japanese umbrellas and illuminations to create an enchanting landscape and share Japanese culture. Diverse programs spanning education and entertainment will also take place, including the LEGO® Festival, Eco Kids Expedition, Todai Week@Marunouchi, and an event commemorating the theatrical release of "TOKYO MER." Most events are free to enjoy, though some workshops may require advance lottery registration or an admission fee. This event promises to become a new summer tradition where visitors can fully enjoy summer in Marunouchi across the entire town.
