About this event
As a commemorative project for the 80th anniversary of Chuo Ward and the 80th anniversary of Minato Ward, the Tokyo Bay Grand Fireworks Festival will be held for the first time in about 11 years. Once again, world-renowned beautiful Japanese fireworks will soar high into the sky over Tokyo Port. Viewing is strictly by ticket only, and standing to watch on sidewalks or similar areas is not permitted. Information regarding ticket sales and viewing venues was released on July 1, 2026, and lottery applications for Ward Residents Priority A Tickets opened on July 6, 2026. A viewing area map is also available for download. For viewing on the sea, vessels without an official flag are not permitted. Flag sponsorship applications for medium and large vessels have begun, and applications for small vessels will be announced later. The launch site is offshore of Harumi Pier in Tokyo Port, with approximately 12,000 fireworks to be launched. Planned viewing venues include Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal, Hinode Pier, Shibaura Pier, Shibaura South Pier Park, and Odaiba Marine Park.
