TOKYO Shukakusai 2026

About this event

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau, in cooperation with tourism associations across Tokyo, will host "TOKYO Shukakusai 2026," an event where visitors can simultaneously enjoy sightseeing and gourmet cuisine from all over Tokyo. At the venue, various initiatives will be offered to experience Tokyo's diverse tourism charms, including sales of regional specialties and local gourmet dishes, tourism information introductions, simulated travel experiences via 360-degree VR videos, workshops, and footbaths. Tokyo's diverse regional charms will be promoted through varied content, featuring local specialty sales, tourism information, food trucks offering local specialties, and sales of local sake, shochu, craft beer, and more. Workshops for parents and children (such as craft-making experiences), an "AI Travel Diagnosis (NEW)" to find your ideal Tokyo trip, footbath experiences, and live demonstrations by traditional craft artisans are also scheduled. A stamp rally within the venue (with gifts for participants) and disaster area support booths will also be set up. Having welcomed over 50,000 visitors last year, this event marks its 4th edition and will be further enhanced with new content. Through local gourmet food, culture, and various experiences across Tokyo, it aims to turn the feeling of "wanting to visit" sparked at the venue into actual trips to Tokyo.
