Kyu-Furukawa Gardens Autumn Rose Festival
Japanese name:旧古河庭園 秋のバラフェスティバル
📅 Sat, Oct 10, 2026 - Fri, Nov 6, 2026
About this event
Kyu-Furukawa Gardens will host the "Autumn Rose Festival" during the peak blooming season of autumn roses. In the gorgeous Western-style garden, where around 200 bushes of approximately 100 varieties of colorful roses bloom in competition, visitors can enjoy their fragrance and colors over an extended period. During the event period, a clarinet quartet will perform as part of the "Autumn Rose Concert." In addition, special events will be held, including "Garden Walk" (advance registration required) to enjoy the scent of roses by entering the garden before regular opening hours, and the "Rose Garden Market" selling rose-themed goods and gelato. Furthermore, a stamp rally titled "Japanese and Western Garden Pilgrimage Notebook" celebrating the 70th anniversary of the garden opening to the public will be held, allowing visitors to tour the grounds while learning about the history and origins of Kyu-Furukawa Gardens. Garden guided tours by volunteers will also take place daily.
