The rescheduled date for the "Edogawa City Exchange Festival," which had been postponed due to stormy weather, has been determined. It will be held with the originally planned scale, allowing visitors to experience the charm of friendship and sister cities. At the event, sightseeing information guidance, PR, and panel displays will be conducted, alongside workshops such as original tin badge making, making aloha shirts out of origami, and the Azumino Building Blocks Caravan. Furthermore, official character coloring activities and photo sessions with Azumino City's "Mizun" and Edogawa City's "Happy-chan" will be held. Various cities and organizations—including Azumino City in Nagano Prefecture, Tsuruoka City in Yamagata Prefecture, Minamiuonuma City in Niigata Prefecture, the City of Central Coast in Australia, the City of Honolulu in the United States, and Miyazu City in Kyoto Prefecture—will open booths and introductions, offering specialty goods sales and woodworking workshops. This festival is a valuable opportunity to feel close to the cultures and special products of each city.
