About this event

Organized by the Edogawa City Traditional Craft Association, this is an exhibition presenting works by traditional craftspeople in the ward. You can view works shining with master craftsmanship up close. A wide variety of traditional crafts will be exhibited, including ceramics, Edo wind chimes (Edo furin), dyeing, weaving, lacquerware, woodworking, kumiko woodwork, Noh masks, metalwork, Edo mounting (hyogu), and tsumami zaiku (pinched silk craft). Workshops will also be held concurrently, allowing visitors to deepen their appreciation of traditional crafts through hands-on experience. Admission is free, though some workshops may charge a fee. Past award-winning works will also be displayed, offering an opportunity to experience high levels of technique and artistry.
