2026 Seibu District Culture Festival

The 2026 Seibu District Culture Festival, held at Chofu City Seibu Community Center, is a cultural festival that local residents can freely enjoy. It serves as a stage for various activity circles based at Seibu Community Center to present the fruits of their regular studies. During the event, there will be exhibitions of ink wash paintings, tanka poetry, hand-knitted creations, leather crafts, sketch drawings, calligraphy, and watercolor paintings, alongside exhibitions of works by kindergarteners, junior and senior high school students, and university students. Activity introductions by local community groups, the Community Comprehensive Support Center, elementary school district councils, and the Hananoko Caravan are also planned. In addition, a wide range of attractions is scheduled, including craft workshops, origami, cooking presentations, concerts, Go trials, taiko drum performances, aerobics trials, Japanese wadaiko drum experiences, and collage art sessions. Please note that parking spaces will not be available on Sunday, November 1. Throughout the period, there will also be baked goods sales by "Smile," run by the Chofu Social Welfare Corporation, and a Veggie Meter (R) setup allowing visitors to self-check their vegetable intake levels. It is an event that everyone from children to adults can enjoy.
