Machida Municipal Hospital "Children's Hospital Tour"

Machida Municipal Hospital is hosting a "Children's Hospital Tour" to spark local children's interest in hospital jobs and healthcare, encouraging them to pursue healthcare careers in the future. Through this event, it is hoped that children will feel closer to medical settings and consider their future dreams and career paths. On the day, various programs are prepared, including a diabetes quiz and injection experience led by doctors, a talk on bones using specimens, AED practice with nurses, body examination using ultrasound, rehabilitation practice with physical therapists and other specialists, and an ambulance ride experience. Through these hands-on activities, children can concretely learn about the work of healthcare professionals. This event is open to 4th through 6th grade elementary school students living or attending school in Machida City, and participation is free. Applications are accepted from Friday, October 2 to Saturday, October 31 via the Machida City event application system "Ivesys." Capacity is 32 participants, and a lottery will be held if applicants exceed capacity.
