20th Citizen Collaboration Festival 'Machi Cafe!'

About this event

This is the 20th edition of the citizen collaboration festival 'Machi Cafe!', where NPOs, citizen activity groups, and community activity groups active in Machida City gather under one roof to deepen interactions through activity presentations, workshops, and more. As the city's largest citizen collaboration event continuing since 2007, it serves as a platform where diverse local activities meet, connecting people with people and people with organizations. In fiscal year 2026, various programs are scheduled to be held over all 9 days across various venues in the city as well as online, beginning with the opening event at the city hall on the first day. As a place for challenges where failures are warmly welcomed, a place to enjoy collaboration working on something together across differences, and a place to spark new activities in the community, unique activities full of expertise and fun will unfold. On the first day, Saturday, November 28, groups active primarily in the city will gather at the city hall venue, where presentations of daily achievements, workshops, and more are scheduled to take place.
