About this event

The family-friendly concert "My Very First Concert: Orchestra Adventure," open to infants from age 0, will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Kokubunji City Izumi Hall. In this performance, alongside music played by the Tokyo Chamber Orchestra, a program is prepared for children to experience the world of the orchestra. The program includes "Everyone's Easy Orchestra Encyclopedia ver.2 - Space Travel Edition" composed by Kei Misawa, "Goin' Home" from the 2nd movement of Dvorak's "From the New World," "Part of Your World" and "Under the Sea" from Disney's movie "The Little Mermaid," and "Slightly Early Autumn Symphony" composed by Kei Misawa. Furthermore, workshops will be held for ticket purchasers of this performance. In the "Rhythm Experience Workshop" for children aged 5 through elementary school, participants can create original musical instruments, practice "Under the Sea" with a soprano singer, and enjoy the precious experience of performing together with the orchestra in the next day's concert. Additionally, in the "After-Stage Experience Tour," participants can go up on stage to observe orchestra instruments up close and feel the sound. Tickets are 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children (from age 0 through elementary school age), with up to one child aged 2 and under allowed to watch on a guardian's lap for free per guardian (a ticket is required if a separate seat is needed). Online advance ticket sales begin on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and general ticket sales begin on Saturday, May 23 at 10:00 AM.
