Held from Saturday, October 10 to Tuesday (national holiday), November 3, 2026, at Higashiyamato City Central Public Hall and Humming Hall, the "56th Higashiyamato Citizens' Cultural Festival" is a venue where citizens present and showcase the achievements of their creativity and cultural activities. During the period, works spanning a wide variety of genres will be exhibited in the exhibition section, including an amateur radio club public operation, flower arrangement exhibition, fine arts exhibition, town revitalization in the internet era, digital local history, etegami (picture postcard) exhibition, calligraphy exhibition, handicrafts exhibition, bonsai exhibition, botanical art exhibition, ceramics exhibition, photo exhibition, Oshiyare Sōi Sakura-no-Kai works exhibition, and an arts & crafts exhibition. Stage performances and competitions are also scheduled, allowing visitors to see the results of each citizen's daily activities up close. The opening ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 10 at 2:30 PM at the Humming Hall Small Hall, and the closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday (national holiday), November 3 at 7:00 PM at the same venue. Attractions and award presentations are also planned, making it an event that adds color to the autumn of culture.
