At the Former Tomizawa Residence in Tama Central Park, the special evening opening "Garden Lights at the Imperial Rest House" will take place from Saturday, September 19 to Wednesday, September 23 (National Holiday), 2026. The historic building and garden, which Emperor Meiji once used as a rest house during imperial tours, will be adorned with magical light displays. Throughout the period from 17:00 to 20:00, visitors can take their time enjoying the distinct evening ambiance of the Former Tomizawa Residence, admiring the moonlit and illuminated garden and architecture. Viewing is free of charge. On the opening day, Saturday, September 19, a "Mini Concert — Collaboration of Chinese Erhu and Hula Dance" will be held in the garden, featuring erhu player Yuzuru and Hula Kiana.
