About this event
This walking event traces the history of limestone, which led to the opening of the Ome Line. You can enjoy a romantic stroll while visiting traces of past industries, such as abandoned railway tracks and abandoned kilns. The walking route covers a distance of approximately 9 km and takes about 3 hours. Participants will meet at the South Exit of Miyanohira Station, with the walk starting at 9:30 AM. The participation fee is 1,000 yen for members and 1,200 yen for the general public, payable on the day using a transit IC card (Suica). The capacity is 30 participants. Through this event, you can enjoy a valuable experience connecting with local history and nature.
