The "Miyakejima OWS Championship 2026" held in Miyake Village, Tokyo, is a competition where participants can enjoy open water swimming (OWS) amidst magnificent nature. The venue is the beautiful sea of Miyake Village on Miyakejima Island, and depending on the weather, Okubohama Beach or Sabigahama Beach will serve as the venue. Participants are required to understand that OWS is a dangerous and grueling sport, possess the swimming ability to complete the distance of their chosen event within the time limit, and engage in regular swimming practice as eligibility requirements. Conditions apply for minors and individuals with pre-existing medical conditions. This competition will be a valuable opportunity for participants to test their swimming ability and fully enjoy the rich nature of Miyakejima.
