Japanese name:第85回 川崎市制記念多摩川花火大会

About this event
The 85th Kawasaki City Anniversary Tamagawa Fireworks Festival is a historic fireworks event that began in 1929 (Showa 4) as a river-opening celebration for the Rokugo Bridge. Currently held to commemorate the municipal incorporation of Kawasaki City, its distinct feature is being held jointly with Setagaya Ward's "Tamagawa Fireworks Festival" on the opposite bank. For the 85th festival, approximately 6,000 fireworks are scheduled to be launched along the Tamagawa riverbed. Each year, powerful starmine fireworks and the fantastical collaboration of music and fireworks known as "Hanabi-lusion" captivate the audience. Event details will be announced periodically on the official website and other channels.
