49th Tama Ward Citizens' Festival: Let's Enjoy Tama 2026

About this event

Held at Ikuta Ryokuchi Park in Tama Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, the "49th Tama Ward Citizens' Festival: Let's Enjoy Tama 2026" is the largest event in Tama Ward, aiming for mutual interaction among ward residents and the creation and development of local culture and community. Centered around the Central Square of nature-rich Ikuta Ryokuchi, numerous stalls, exhibitions, and stage events will take place. In the 48th edition held last year, a diverse lineup enjoyed by both children and adults was featured, including an opening ceremony, an opening parade, performances on stage, stalls and exhibits around Central Square and the Metasequoia trees, a demonstration with a transparent garbage truck, candy giveaways for elementary school students and younger, and working vehicle exhibitions and ride experiences. This year is likewise expected to be an event created jointly by local organizations and companies where visitors can deepen community ties in an open atmosphere. It will take place even in the rain, but will be canceled in the event of severe weather.
