Bringing together over 120 varieties of plum liqueur (umeshu) from sake breweries across the nation, the 'National Umeshu Festival in Yokosuka 2026' will be held at Verny Park in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Set in a park with an open seaside location and beautiful roses, you can sample and compare more than 120 kinds of umeshu, including umeshu based on sake, shochu, and brandy, as well as uniquely flavored umeshu made with citrus, fruits, black tea, and green tea. You can also enjoy tastings and lottery sales of the rare 'Dassai Umeshu,' as well as pairings of umeshu-based innovative drinks and dishes. In addition, food pairings with 'National Umeshu Competition' Hall of Fame umeshu, umeshu beer, and desserts like vanilla ice cream topped with umeshu will be served. At the Taisho Pharmaceutical booth, tastings and sampling of 'Umeshu x Lipovitan Jelly' will also be conducted, perfect for recharging your energy to enjoy the event to the fullest. A collaborative menu featuring roses will also make its new debut exclusively at the Yokosuka venue.
