Held in Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture, the "Kokubunjidai Tarui Liaison Council Summer Festival" is a regular summer event that deepens exchanges among local residents. It will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 (Reiwa 8) at Kokubunjidai 4th Children's Park, running from 16:00 to 19:00. At the event, a Bon Odori dance session featuring Tanko Bushi, Soran Bushi, and Doraemon Ondo will be held, along with children's portable shrines (kodomo mikoshi) parading through the park. In addition, powerful taiko drumming performances and a photo session with Ebina's mascot character "Ebi-nya" are scheduled. Furthermore, there will be plenty of activities for children and adults to enjoy, such as free distribution of cotton candy and popcorn, a yo-yo fishing contest, ring toss, and target games. There is also a raffle game where you can win prizes and participation awards, making it a great opportunity to enjoy the cool summer evening, interact with people from neighboring areas, and make fun summer memories.
