The Grand Sumo Ebina Tour will be held at the Ebina City Athletic Park General Gymnasium on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The regional tour offers various events for everyone from sumo beginners to fans to enjoy up-close interactions with sumo wrestlers. In addition to the tournament bouts, must-see demonstrations not seen at official tournaments include the hair-tying demonstration showing the styling of popular wrestlers' oicho (ginkgo leaf topknot). Shikkiri, a comical performance demonstrating forbidden moves and rare winning techniques, is full of laughter-inducing scenes. Special tour-exclusive interactions, such as handshake events with popular wrestlers and photo opportunities, are also part of the appeal. Doors open at 9:00, and the event is scheduled to conclude (uchidashi) at 14:30.
