About this event
A sweet potato harvesting experience will be held at the Oi Town Agricultural Experience Facility "Shiki no Sato" in Oi Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. You can take home the sweet potatoes you dig up yourself. On Saturday, October 17, and Saturday, October 24, a harvest-only plan is available for 1,000 yen for junior high school students and older, and 500 yen for elementary school students (free for preschoolers). In addition, on Sunday, October 25, there is a plan that includes both sweet potato harvesting and roasted sweet potatoes, available for 1,500 yen for junior high school students and older, and 1,000 yen for elementary school students (free for preschoolers). For all plans, a separate fee of 1,000 yen per group is required for 3 sweet potato plants. Capacity is approximately 10 groups (around 40 people) per session on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that application deadlines vary depending on the desired date.
