SpoGOMI in HAKONE 2026

About this event

"SpoGOMI in HAKONE 2026" brings together lovers of Hakone's beautiful nature to contribute to regional beautification through sport. This event treats litter picking as a sport where teams compete against each other while cleaning up the area. Participants form teams of 3, with a total capacity of 75 participants (25 teams). Eligibility is open to elementary school students and older (preschoolers may accompany), but teams composed exclusively of elementary school students are not permitted. Great prizes include lodging vouchers for the winning team and day-use onsen bath tickets as participation prizes. The entry fee is 1,000 yen per person, but free for high school students and younger. It will be a day to enjoy Hakone's wonderful scenery, get active, and make a tangible contribution to the community. The meeting point is the Motohakone Community Center in Hakone Town.
