At the "Hot Spring Town Yugawara Oriental Orchid Exhibition" held at the Yugawara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hall, Oriental orchids including Shunran (Cymbidium goeringii) will be exhibited. Oriental orchids do not require greenhouses or direct sunlight and can be grown even in small spaces, making them plants that easily fit into daily life. Characterized by a graceful and neat beauty rooted in wabi-sabi aesthetics, they were once classic plants enjoyed only by a few wealthy individuals, but today they have become affordable in price and cultivation methods have become widely known. At the venue, approximately 200 Oriental orchids will be exhibited, and a seedling sales and cultivation guidance corner will also be set up where you can learn how to grow them from experts. Admission is free, and anyone is welcome to stop by.
