A glamorous and atmospheric summer festival held in the Iwamuro Onsen district of Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture. On the first day, a portable shrine parade (Mikoshi Togyo) marches through the hot spring town. On the following day, a children's mikoshi procession takes place, showcasing charming performances. In the evening, the Iwamuro Grand Festival Fireworks Display lights up the night sky with set-piece fireworks. At the festival plaza, various events will be held starting around 16:00 on both days, offering enjoyment for all generations from children to seniors. On Saturday, September 26, the Mikoshi Togyo begins around 19:00, with the festival plaza open from 17:00 to 21:30. On Sunday, September 27, the children's mikoshi procession starts around 9:00, Maki Koshio Daiko drumming and Geigi dance from 18:20, and the festival plaza can be enjoyed from 17:00 to 21:00.
