About this event
Held at Ryuyo Park in Namporo Town, the agricultural festival "Yasai" (Field/Vegetable Festival), organized by the young farmers' group "Nozaru," marks its 9th edition this year. They are seeking participants for venue setup and teardown, event staff, and booth staff for the children's festival stalls. On the day of the event, a rich lineup of activities is scheduled, including a massive appreciation sale of fresh vegetables, a children's festival zone, and a tractor tug-of-war. An optional after-party (free of charge) is also open for participation after the event concludes. Past events featured introductions to the cultivation methods, nutritional benefits, and delicious recipes for wood ear mushrooms (kikurage), as well as tastings of thick, chewy fresh wood ear mushrooms.
