57th Echigo Myoko Koshihikari Marathon

About this event

Looking up at the majestic Mount Myoko, the '57th Echigo Myoko Koshihikari Marathon' will be held, running through the autumn Echigo roads. In addition to individual events such as the half marathon, 10km, 5km, 3km, 2km, and 1.2km, there are also pair ekiden (half), family ekiden (3.2km), and a Turtle Course (1.2km) that anyone can participate in. Participants can choose an event suited to their physical strength and goals. All finishers will receive gifts such as Myoko-grown Koshihikari rice, freshly harvested Koshihikari rice balls, sasa dango, and sports drinks, making the opportunity to savor local specialties an appealing feature. On race day, an original T-shirt is prepared as a participation prize, and baggage storage services and stalls are also available at the venue. In Myoko City, also known as a hot spring resort, this event allows participants to fully enjoy the region's charms while enjoying running in the refreshing autumn air.
