The "14th Uonuma Koshihikari Autumn Leaves Marathon" held in Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, is a marathon event where runners race along the roads of Uonuma colored with beautiful autumn foliage. In Uonuma City, which boasts hot springs and delicious specialty products, warm cheering awaits to make participants' steps feel lighter. Various events are available, including a half marathon, 10km, 2km, and fan run pair, allowing a wide range of age groups to enjoy. Participants will receive luxurious participation prizes such as 1kg of freshly harvested Uonuma Koshihikari rice (Half / 10km), Yunotani famous-water pestle-pounded mochi, hot spring bath discount coupons, and freshly harvested Uonuma Koshihikari rice balls. In addition, winners in each category will be awarded freshly harvested Uonuma Koshihikari rice and special floral arrangements. The tournament starts and finishes at Yakushi Ski Resort, with a course designed to fully enjoy the nature-rich autumn of Uonuma. Attentive services for participants are also provided, including a baggage storage service (paid) and a completion certificate downloadable from a dedicated web page after the event. Tournament commemorative T-shirts are also planned for sale and can be purchased upon entry.
