Nakajo Festival Fireworks Display

About this event

Fireworks will be launched as part of the "Nakajo Festival" held in Tainai City, Niigata Prefecture. This festival is the regular annual grand festival of Kumano Wakamiya Shrine praying for a bountiful harvest. In addition to the fireworks display, visitors can enjoy a variety of events such as food stalls lining the streets, hanaguruma and float parades, and folk dance processions (minyo-nagashi). The fireworks are launched from Mt. Kahei in the Sekizawa area, illuminating the night sky. Applications for fireworks sponsors are also open, allowing individuals and businesses to sponsor commemorative fireworks. It serves as a special opportunity to launch fireworks to celebrate milestones such as the birth of children or grandchildren, parents' retirement, or grandparents' 88th birthday (beiju).
