About this event
Held at the Toyama Station North-South Free Passage, "Bacchus Toyama 2026 - Sake Day -" is an event where visitors can savor unique local sakes brewed by breweries across Toyama Prefecture in October, when the harvest of newly cropped rice begins and sake brewing gets into full swing. 17 breweries will exhibit, and paid tasting booths for Toyama's local sake will be set up. In addition, a "Kagami-biraki (barrel-breaking ceremony) and furumai-zake (complimentary sake)" event will be conducted, alongside food and beverage booths offering original menus using local ingredients that let visitors enjoy Toyama's distinctive flavors. Furthermore, wineries, craft beer, and craft gin producers from Toyama Prefecture will also participate as guest booths, providing an autumn moment that can be casually enjoyed by sake fans as well as first-timers. At the venue, visitors can fully enjoy Toyama's delicacies by purchasing a dedicated tasting glass (for a fee) and paying at each producer's booth.
