Namerikawa Industry Festival: Job Quest Namerikawa

About this event

Under the theme of "From Watching to Experiencing Namerikawa's Industries", this event is held for the first time this year with the aim of deepening children's interest in and understanding of local industries through touching, making, riding, eating, and experiencing. It is packed with projects where parents and children can take on challenges together, including job experiences and crafts. Advance-reservation job experiences for elementary school students and older will also be conducted, such as scaffolding assembly experience, ridge-raising (house building carpenter) experience, and craft classes using wood. In the stamp rally, participants can take on quests at job booths set up in the venue and collect stamps to try the lottery wheel (garapon), with chances to win prizes such as toys, meal vouchers, and original stickers. Contents that a wide range of age groups can enjoy are prepared, including sales of crab gourmet dishes and locally grown vegetables, bringing together the city's special features under one roof. You can also enjoy vehicle displays and riding experiences such as police cars and ambulances, corporate PR booth exhibitions, and a gourmet corner. In the agricultural sector, the "Namerikawa Hikaru Market" selling agricultural produce and processed goods, as well as sales of Toyama Prefecture's brand rice "Fufufu", will also be held. It is an event that the whole family can enjoy during the fruitful and appetizing autumn season.
