Held in Kamiichi Town, Toyama Prefecture, the '12th Photo Rogaining Kamiichi Machi no Wa 2026' is a sports event where participants navigate checkpoints using a map to score as many points as possible within the time limit. Set against the backdrop of Kamiichi Town, rich in magnificent nature and cultural heritage, teams cooperate to plan strategies, take photos at checkpoints, and enjoy walking through the town. 3-hour and 5-hour classes are available, allowing participation across various categories such as family, general, mixed, men's, and women's. Special programs such as costume awards and town-walk bingo exclusive to the 3-hour class will also be held, allowing participants to fully experience the appeal of Kamiichi Town while having fun. Located at the foot of Mount Tsurugi, one of Japan's most prominent peaks, this event is held in a unique location where participants can experience the rich nature created by the meltwater of the Tateyama Mountain Range and the culture of prayer dotted with ascetic training and Zen temples.
