The "Summer Parent-Child Insect Observation Gathering" held at Ishikawa Prefectural Forest Park is a hands-on event for parents and children to learn about forest insects while enjoying observation and collecting. After learning key points for safe nature exploration, participants will search for summer insects throughout the park. Geared toward elementary school students and older, it is ideal for summer vacation nature studies. The event will be held in light rain, but in case of severe weather, the program will switch to indoor explanations using exhibits. Through insect observation and collection, the event provides an opportunity for children to deepen their understanding of nature. Participants will meet at the Ishikawa Prefectural Forest Park Information Center before moving to the Greening Plaza for activities. The participation fee is 100 yen per person.
