2026 Food Valley Tokachi Marathon

Held in Obihiro City, Hokkaido, the "2026 Food Valley Tokachi Marathon" is a marathon event where you can run while feeling the rich nature of Tokachi. On the half marathon course, after passing Shirakaba-dori Avenue, you can enjoy scenery as you run through the Ground Self-Defense Force Camp and along Midorigaoka Park. The event will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, and the entry period runs from June 22 to September 6, 2026. Participants can choose from the Half Marathon, 5km, 2.5km, Parent-and-Child Family, and Wheelchair divisions. All participants will receive an original towel and a food/beverage voucher that can be used at the venue, and there is also a lottery to win sponsor prizes. Race bibs and timing chips will be mailed prior to the event, so there is no need to pick them up at the reception desk. To allow runners to run in better conditions, the event date is set earlier than in typical years.
