About this event
"Fukumoku Fes 2026" is a celebration of wood where visitors can look, touch, and play. The event is enjoyable for both children and adults, featuring a giant slide made from Fukui wood, a "wood education" plaza where visitors can play with over 300 types of wooden toys, and woodcraft workshops. Partnering with the General Incorporated Association Moccuick, which organizes "Wooden Toy Expo," one of the largest wooden play festivals in western Japan, the event aims to convey the charm of Fukui's timber. Food trucks that children love will also appear at the venue. Visitors can enjoy thrilling and exciting experiences with wooden playground equipment such as a giant jungle gym and slides.
